Tal-Kugini is a family run restaurant by two very special and very talented cousins. Chef Alex and Chef Victor have teamed up to live their childhood dream, that of cooking and serving genuine, traditional and tasty food together. Sons of farmers both grew up running wild in the Imgarr fields, working and tilling the land, intimately getting to know the fresh produce of Malta. At the tender ages of 16 and 17 respectively they enrolled at ITS to study and learn. But their curious natures and love of food took them to different lands where they expanded their skills. On returning to Malta they worked hard in some of the most famous and luxurious hotels. Till the day arrived and they felt ready to open their own establishment under the name Tal-Kugini aka Of the Cousins. Situated in the heart of the peaceful hamlet of Bahrija, these two Chefs are set on titillating our senses and feeding our bellies with heart warming food straight out of a folklore book, of a time gone by but which can be revived.
