About Urban Jungle Valletta
Urban Jungle: Valletta’s Streetwear Blueprint Since 1974 Founded in Valletta in 1974 as Jagger, Urban Jungle has been a steady fixture in Malta’s streetwear and sneaker community for over 50 years. What started as a small jeans and knitwear shop in Regency House eventually grew into our St. John’s Street location, which we famously designed to look like an urban subway station. Along the way, we had the privilege of introducing authentic hip-hop culture to the island with brands like FUBU and Wu Wear, before becoming the first to bring Nike to Malta in 1991. Renamed Urban Jungle in 1995, we have always paired premium streetwear and limited editions with a great background soundtrack. Following a full refurbishment in 2024, our St. John’s Street home is officially open as the Valletta Flagship store, continuing our long-standing dedication to local street culture.
